Mula sa BATAAN POLYTECHNIC STATE COLLEGE ay naging BATAAN PENISULA STATE UNIVERSITY.

Did you already have a goal or plans for this year?
I know many of us write down our bucket list for this year. Our goals that we want to achieve for 2017. May it be career, relationship goals, travel goals and personal goal. It is good for everyone to have a plan or a goal. Goals are an important component to achieving success in any endeavor. Goals serve as a guide to keep us on course when times get tough, and prevent us from becoming distracted by unimportant matters. Goals also provide benefits in areas like planning, motivation and the attainment of rapid results.
I’d like to give 3 important reasons why you need to set goals for yourself
Goals Help Us Believe In Ourselves
Do you want to accomplish something that many people dream about, but few people ever actually accomplish? Unless you make it a goal for yourself and work everyday towards achieving it, why would you ever believe that you could accomplish it? Setting goals for yourself is a way to fuel your ambition.
Unless you see yourself slowly making progress, your dreams and aspirations is nothing more than vague notions floating around in your imagination. Goal setting isn’t just about creating a plan for your life and holding yourself accountable, it’s also about giving us the inspiration necessary to aim for things we never thought possible.
2. Goals Tell You What You Truly Want
There are certainly times where we set goals that don’t really reflect what we want. Sometimes we think we need more money, when really we need a change of environment, or someone to love. Sometimes we think we want more free time, but what we really want is work that we can be truly passionate about. Sometimes we think we want to be alone, but really we need to be around more positive people.
If you never set goals in the first place, how do you find out what you truly want? If you wander through life with vague notions of “success” and “accomplishment”, you might never discover that buying a new BMW isn’t what will bring you true happiness, or that landing that coveted promotion at work will make you miserable because the extra money and fancy title won’t make up for the reduced time with your family.
By asking ourselves what we really want and constantly re-assessing our goals, we gain the benefit of introspection and self-reflection. We can figure out what it is we really want in life – and then we can go out and do it.
Goals Help Us Live Life To The Fullest
When you take the time to set goals, you ensure that your life is geared towards getting the most out of every moment.
In many ways, life is like a vacation (though it certainly doesn’t feel like it); we’re given a finite amount of time to pursue the experiences we want and then before you know it, it’s time to go. If you want to get the most out of your precious moments of life, you have to know what you want. Without a clear sense of what you want to do and where you want to go, you’ll never be able to live life to the fullest.
And above all the goals setting, of course it is best paired with prayers.
Commit your work to the LORD, and your plans will be established.
“You may plan and I may plan or arrange things, but when the time comes to speak or act, God is the One who is going to have the last word. We may make a great boast, but only God can give the final answer.”
It is the Lord who ultimately establishes our plans and allows them to come to fruition.
So once again we are part of the anniversary special on CROSSROAD 77. An event hosted by SONSHINE VILLE. In line with the anniversary theme “ MUTIARA. An ancient Cebuano word for PEARL. After how many years I’ve been waiting for, I guess this is the time, the right time for me to dare, to try, to walk on the water and let my dream now turn into reality.
It’s been 5 months of a wonderful journey that the Lord has blessed me. It’s on the 1st Saturday of July 2016 when heart my feels so alive.again. My heart beats fast, so many thoughts that are coming into my mind at that time. Questions like, is this real? “ito na ba talaga?” “handa na ba talaga ako para dito?” and Saturday after Saturday came. And first semester already ended on November 5, 2016.
Activities, reports, quizzes, recitations, exams are done. I’ve met new people and became friends. So many lessons I’ve gain with my classmates, with my teachers. Their experiences will help us by the time we became a teacher.
Indeed time flies by so fast. We already finished one semester. All of us really enjoyed sharing knowledge and experiences. Looking forward for more fun and learning to one another this next semester.
